This guided walk will cover the history of the woods, including its use in the development of the airfield, and also explain what the modern day forestry operations do to ensure this diverse woodland habitat continues to thrive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe woods today form part of the Boughton Estate. The guide for this walk will be Jonathan, Boughton Estate's Woodland Operations Manager, who has many years experience of working with this woodland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe walk will last approximately one hour, and cover approximately two miles over varied terrain including rough grassland areas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eParking available on site.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe walk will commence at 1.30pm, please meet for 1.15pm by the entrance to the Museum site.
